The European research programme eContentPlus aims at facilitating access to digital content, its use and exploitation,
enhancing quality of content with well-defined metadata, and reinforcing cooperation between digital content stakeholders.
LiLa is a new project starting at May 1, 2009 in which virtual laboratories and remote experiments spread out over Europe
are combined for the first time. The Basel group will put emphasis on the integration of NanoWorld, an infrastructure
developed under the Swiss Virtual Campus Initiative.
